Atmospheric Thermal Structure and Composition

The climate model provides a method for predicting the temperatures of the surface and the atmosphere of a planet. Surface temperatures determine when and if water can exist in liquid form at the surface, and atmospheric temperatures determine when and where clouds form. Both of these components are critical to the geology and biology of the planet being modeled.
